CHOCOLATE CHIP SMOOTHIE WITH CACAO NIBS
Did you know that DARK CHOCOLATE and CACAO contain more antioxidants per serve than green tea, black tea and even the well known resveratrol rich red wine?
Inspired by Easter and the incredible health benefits of cacao and dark chocolate, and not to mention my love for chocolate, I created this chocolate heaven smoothie recipe which in spite of its’ chocolate chip consistency and devine sweet flavour is actually extremely good for you. It’s low GI, high in antioxidants, essential fatty acids, fibre, B vitamins, magnesium and more. Enjoy it guilt free! Scroll down for the recipe:
Choc Chip Smoothie with Cacao Nibs
1 tbsp LSA
1 tsp raw honey
1 tbsp cacao nibs
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup almond milk/rice milk (add more if desired)
1/4 cup of you favourite berries
1-2 tsp raw cacao (for a more chocolatie taste)
Blend well in a blender or bullet. Enjoy for brekky or for an uplifting afternoon snack.
